The family-run winery, directly deals with the cultivation of vineyards following the traditional method, with ancient methods passed down from generation to generation. Natural substances such as sulphur, lime and copper are used, flanked by new herbal preparations obtained from medicinal herbs such as nettle, horsetail and garlic, which help plants to defend themselves. As an insecticide, only pyrethrum, an extract of natural origin, is used and artificial nests are placed to host insectivorous birds.
Fertilisation is exclusively obtained from plants, through grass planting in alternating rows, varying from year to year the range of herbs for proper management of the soil in support of its fertility.
During the month of August, the bunches are thinned out, which allows for low yields and excellent wine quality.
